Support configuration allows administrators to manage vendor support and customer support separately, ensuring the right support channels and workflows are applied for each user type.

Purpose of Support Configuration

Support configuration helps to:

  • Configure support workflows for vendors and customers independently
  • Ensure correct routing of support requests
  • Control access to support features based on user type
  • Improve response handling and issue resolution
  • Centralize support management in SMP

Key Support Configuration Features

  • Separate configuration for Vendor Support and Customer Support

Steps to Configure Support Settings

  1. Navigate to Settings → Support.
  2. Select Vendor Support Configuration to manage vendor-related support settings.
  3. Configure vendor support options as required and save the settings.
  4. Select Customer Support Configuration to manage customer-related support settings.
  5. Configure customer support options independently and save the settings.
  6. Review the support configurations to ensure both setups are correctly applied.
